We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, password) and information about your students that you enter into the platform (names, contact details, fee amounts, attendance records). We also collect usage data to improve our services.
Your information is used solely to provide and improve Tutor Desk services. We use your data to manage your account, display your dashboard, send notifications you request, and provide customer support. We do NOT sell your data to third parties.
Student information entered into Tutor Desk belongs to you (the tutor). We store this data securely on your behalf. Parents and students can only access their own data through portals you share with them. We do not access student data except to provide technical support when requested.
We use Supabase (enterprise-grade database) with row-level security to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to data requires authentication. We follow industry best practices for data security.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information or your students' data with third parties. The only exceptions are: (a) when required by Pakistani law, (b) with your explicit consent, (c) to provide the service (e.g., Supabase for database hosting).
Tutor Desk uses WhatsApp links (wa.me) to facilitate communication. We do not store WhatsApp messages or have access to your WhatsApp account. Messages are sent directly from your device to recipients.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data from the platform. You can close your account and request data deletion by contacting us.
